Graphic elements in a building and its interior can serve a range of functions from guidance to decoration. Signage and maps are vital for wayfinding particularly in public areas such as transport terminals, theatres or large office lobbies, but can also enhance the interior environment and convey the client’s brand image. Logos and other graphics are an integral part of an organisation’s image and visual identity. Graphic design can also be applied to decorative elements such as wall panels and taping.
